Linda Grais, M.D. Linda Grais, M.D., is a Partner at InterWest Partners. She has a wide array of experience as a physician, attorney and biotechnology entrepreneur. Previously, Dr. Grais was a founder and executive vice president of SGX Pharmaceuticals (SGXP), a drug discovery company focusing on new treatments for cancer. Prior to that, she was a corporate attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she represented biotechnology and medical device companies in venture financings, public offerings and strategic partnerships. Before practicing law, Dr. Grais worked as an assistant clinical professor of Internal Medicine and Critical Care at the University of California, San Francisco. She has also served as a consultant to the Institute of Medicine, and is a member of the Stanford Law School Board of Visitors. Dr. Grais received a B.A. from Yale University, magna cum laude, and Phi Beta Kappa, an M.D. from Yale Medical School, and a J.D. from Stanford Law School.
